In its current pen configuration, CorkBot works as a portable pen plotter, guiding a physical pen along prepared paths. The phone app’s AI prepares the job from your saved artwork. You review and accept the plot before drawing begins. Here is how that request becomes a physical drawing.
The phone workflow
From a saved logo to a physical drawing.
This sequence explains the current AI preparation workflow. The example request uses artwork you have already saved.

Scan
The system scans the workspace and the surfaces in front of the robot.
Mesh
It builds a surface mesh: a geometric representation used to prepare the drawing.
Place
The AI places the artwork and prepares the plot across the scanned surfaces.
You review
You review and accept the prepared plot before the robot starts drawing.
Draw
CorkBot executes the accepted plot with the physical pen.
Your part in the process
Prepare the project. Check the plan.
You supply the artwork and the physical items you want to work with. For a first project, choose one surface and a simple design so you can inspect the pen marks before preparing a batch.
At the review stage, look at the intended artwork, its scale and its position on each item. This is the decision point between a digital plan and a physical job. The AI handles the preparation sequence; your acceptance starts the plot.

A setup you can move
Carry the robot to the project.
CorkBot folds into a compact configuration with a carry handle and a case for transport. Integrated battery power and plug-in operation give you two ways to power the machine.
The current pen configuration brings robotic drawing to a work surface without a permanent bench installation. Choose a stable workspace with room for the robot and the project, and keep the physical layout consistent with the job you review.

Does AI start the drawing by itself?
The current workflow prepares the plot for you to review and accept. Acceptance comes before execution.
Does it work with every phone, file or material?
Phone and connection requirements, supported artwork formats and tested material guidance will be shared with the launch details. Check those details against your intended project before deciding to back CorkBot.

This guide describes the current pen configuration. Planned tools and modules are in development; the final launch package will identify what is included.
