Small-business customization
Put your artwork to work.
For small brands and packaging creators, CorkBot offers a portable way to explore drawing a saved design onto a small batch. Its phone app’s AI prepares the scanned surfaces and artwork placement. You review the plot before the robot draws with its pen.
A small-batch example
One saved logo. Six boxes.
Imagine preparing a small run of packaging with the same logo. In CorkBot’s current phone workflow, you can ask the AI to retrieve a saved logo and place it on six boxes in front of the machine. It scans the workspace, meshes the surfaces and prepares the artwork placement.
You review and accept the prepared plot before CorkBot draws. That review gives you a chance to check the intended layout across the batch. See the complete preparation sequence for what happens at each stage.
The task begins with your existing artwork. A clear, simple logo is a useful first experiment because it makes the placement and the resulting pen marks easier to inspect.
Before a batch
Evaluate one sample first.
A box’s finish affects what a pen leaves behind. Start with a spare sample of the exact packaging you intend to use. Look at how the ink behaves, whether the lines remain readable at your chosen size, and how the material’s texture affects the result.
- Choose the artwork and identify the area you want to mark.
- Check one pen-and-surface combination before committing saleable packaging.
- Review the prepared placement on each item, including margins and orientation.
- Inspect the finished sample before preparing the rest of the batch.
Keep a record of the pen, packaging and artwork size that you evaluate. A successful sample answers a specific project question; it does not establish compatibility with every box or coating.
Room for other work
Bring it out for the job.
A small business often shares one table between several tasks. CorkBot’s folding configuration, carry handle and transport case let the robot travel to your workspace. It runs on its integrated battery or plugged-in power, without a permanent bench installation.
When assessing fit, think about your actual batch size, the time you can spend preparing and inspecting a job, and the finish you want on the packaging. CorkBot’s current pen workflow is a way to explore physical customization; your own sample should guide the decision.
Your questions
Questions for your business.
Will it print a full-color label?
The current configuration draws with a physical pen. Evaluate your artwork as pen work, including its lines, lettering and scale.
Can I use my existing logo?
The current AI workflow retrieves saved artwork for placement. Supported artwork formats and preparation requirements will be shared before launch.
Can I reserve a unit or buy one now?
The launch list is free and provides confirmed-email updates. It does not reserve a robot or commit you to buy. Final package and price information will be available before Kickstarter opens.
